that board has been around for a long while. I had bookmarked "a clear rebound board" back in 2006 or 2007, but the link was dead when I tried it a few days ago. Sure enough it was to the "ko-casino" site, which has been redone so old links are dead.

I had thought about getting one and trying to video some speed bag through the top, like Doc did back in the 1970's, and he used the film frames to draw his technique pictures from the top. I often wonder how long it took to find the exact frames, have them developed into pictures so he could draw to top views by hand. He drew all his examples by hand - for over 20 books he authored. Now that's dedication.

No choice back in the '70's ... that was before the computer age & desktop publishing. Sad thing is, I remember it all!

An acrylic drum that diameter and thickness is quite pricey, especially if you have the round cut and finished by someone else. I've worked a lot with acrylic sheets when I was a museum exhibits tech. We used to buy it by the 4x8 sheet in various thickness' and do a lot of the cutting and shaping ourselves. It's not very forgiving stuff to work with.

I wish Aaron was still active in all this, he could make a board out of anything. Acrylic would be a walk in his park.
