  • The Video Biff Mentioned.

This is the Video Biff Mentioned in the Post of HIS Killer Speed Bag Video.

If anyone is interested in Checking out this... Sort of Instructional Video. I use the Term "Instructional Video" loosely.

Below is the Text from the Video on YouTube.

The Basic 6 Count Elbow Rotation, Broken Down Step By Step.

You can do ALOT with this Combo, but of course then it is no longer just the basic 6 Count Elbow Rotation. I sort of over use this Combo, but i love this One, and try to mix it up a bit.

Later In This Video I Add an Extra Strike, Or So To This Basic 6 Count Rotation, But It's Best To Get The Basic Combo Down Cold Before Moving On And Adding Strikes.

The Examples Are Done Very Slowly, and One step At a Time.

I Find, that For Me To Really Learn Advanced Speed Bag Moves, and Combos, I Will Practice Them With a Bag, and Without a Bag. (Without a bag = "Air Baggin") this helps To Etch the Movements Of The Combos into my Brain, and Muscle Memory alot Faster.

Also In This Video I Show How I Hold A Fist When Striking The Bag Over, Or Under An Elbow (Phantom Strikes) This Sort Of Extended Fist Position Just Makes It Easier For Me To Reach The Bag, and It's Easier on My Back (less Twisting to Reach The Bag).

The Strikes are as Follows For The Basic 6 Count Elbow Rotation. (The Strikes Listed Below Are For An Elbow Rotation That Starts on the Right Side).

    1. Right Elbow.

    2. Right Hammer Fist.

    3. Left Fist, ( just after making contact with the bag with this left fist, bend this arm around and get it into position for a phantom strike under it's elbow.)

    4. Right Phantom Strike (under the Above described Left Elbow).

    5. Left Elbow strike.

    6. Left Hammer Fist.

To Start The Rotation On the Left Side, Just substitute all Right Strikes For Left Strikes, and Left Strikes, For Right Strikes.

Surprisingly, this one didn't take as long as I thought it would. As I said, I haven't mastered it, but I'm able to string several together, and have been practicing entering and exiting the combo in various ways.

You guys should have no problem with it. Post up some vids once you get it down.

        Thanks again, ebozyn.

Yeah... that's easy for you taller, long armed, lanky guys. I'm built like a stump with arms!
It's very difficult (and un-natural) for me to hit under my elbow. That said, after watching this, taking notes & practicing...I think I can get this down!

Great video eboyzn, thanks SO much for posting this one!

            Z - you don't have T-Rex arms do you?

The movement and positioning is "different" for me because I've never used the under phantom punch much. And, after the third strike of the O-TES the fist has to continue past the face with the elbow ending up high across your face...........yeah, you're right, it's un-natural.

should be: "Get it bad, bang a bag, rebound...."
