SPEED BAG IV - Please read if you are attending

Folks - the big day is almost upon us... SB IV.

A few things. I'm flying not driving up this year. I will not be bringing the usual car load of equipment with me.

The following items will be needed. Who can commit to bringing one or more of these items?
    • Power drill with an auger bit - for "adjusting" or creating new bolt holes. Can someone local bring this item?
    • Crescent wrenches for the 1/2" bolts in the rack... I don't think I left any as I needed them at home.
    • Speed bags - I know we have a bunch at the gym - but please consider bringing one or two if you can - half the fun is trying different bags
    • Swivels - don't recall what we left at the gym, please bring a swivel or two if you can.

Lastly, there will NOT be a silent auction this year. I did not have time to organize any charity event nor to solicit equipment donations. Balazs was very, very generous in years past and permanently donated the two PRO platforms to the gym last year (That's nearly $1,500 worth of equipment alone, not to mention all the i-Box platforms). As such I did not hit them up for equipment again this year.

We will need to compensate Donnie for taking over his gym... please bring $25 / day admission fee of $60 for all 3 days.

O.K., I have (2) adjustable cresents wrenches, (1) 1/2" auger bit and (1) 3/4" auger bit I'll be bringing down for the build!

NOTE: we still need a power drill!

"Speedy Tommy T's" Fist Rolling qualifies as a power drill.

I can probably get my hands on a power drill. If anyone else has easier access to one let me know. If I don't hear from anyone, I'll borrow one from a friend and bring it down. Only issue is, I won't be coming down until about mid day on Friday if not a little later...

                Hazlet home depot

I have a brand-new electric drill, but I'm just not sure if I am allowed to bring power tools in my carry-on luggage.

I just called the Hazlet Home Depot (just down the road from Best Western). They rent power tools, so if all else fails, Home Depot rents a cordless power drill for $13 for 4 hours; an electric drill is $24 for 4 hours of use. He said it gets busy on the rental of equipment for the weekend, but we should be able to get our hands on one if we get it in the morning.

If you bring a drill, Ataraxis, we might only need to use it for the tear-down of the platforms on Sunday.

I will be bringing everything on the list and then some. I also want to bring another portable drum I have made but not sure if there will be enough room to setup. I won't get to NJ until noon or so on Friday. Hope everyone attending has a safe trip in and see ya there!

Tommy T to the rescue! YOU are the man.

You HAVE to make some time for me. I'm bringing a camera and HAVE to finally get a short interview with you & some hitting footage for the film!

Maybe, but it's the extended Director's Cut with all the bonus footage is what I'm waiting for.

Almost...still tweaks and finishing the history section. Then color correction, score, final voice over, etc. these films don't make themselves!

The preview is 50 minutes and will give the viewers a real good idea of the final (which will be somewhere around 90 minutes). I'm trying to finish by September- October then enter festivals, duplicate the DVD's for sale...and set up the pay-per-view online versions.

Oh...and I'm here in Hazlet now...quick lunch and off to the Real Gymm!

Ok Zaza. Gotcha. I thought it was a finished product. Maybe I can still throw a little cashish your way then.
                            Let me know bro.
