Powermill swivel making has temporary stopped.

Well my brother and sister baggers of the world.....the railroad just notified me that i am heading out of town to report for mandatory engineer training. I will be out of town for some time. When i get back i will be on 2hr call as my new shitty schedule. This is gonna put a hault to swivel making for a while. I am severly bummed that i have to give up 9 years of conductor seniority to go to the bottom of the ranks again as a road engineer away from home most of the time. I am literally sick over this. I will still be here to answer any swivel questions, and i will still be able to provide replacement eyes/hooks for people. But the rest is on pause......so this sucks for me. Thanks more than words can say for all the support of making these swivels. You baggers of the world are the best class of people! Thank you!

Bad for us but probably good for you. The road to the top always starts at the bottom. Good luck with your engineering. Good luck, JC, and "See ya on the train".

By the way, the speed bag community owes you a HUGE debt of thanks for creating and fabricating the single best ballhook in history!

A very sincere thanks to you Jump. Using the powermill swivel puts a smile on my face every time I bag, seriously. We very much appreciate your efforts to date.

Sorry to hear the job isn't pleasing you, hopefully that will pass quickly and things will get better for you.

"Powermill swivel making has temporary stopped"

            Ouch!
Now, i hate to hear that JC. I had my heart set on a powermill, or two in the future. Well, hopefully everything will go well for you getting settled into your new job, and then you'll have some free time to make more swivels in the near future.

            side note:
I went to a local sporting goods store today, to buy the last plastic ball-hook swivel they had, for $9.99, only to find that they had sold it. eeeek! The sales guy tried to sell me the everlast u-bolt swivel, he said: "these u-bolts are better and stronger" i had to tell him: "No thank you, i prefer ball hook swivels".

next time a sales person tells you a U-Bolt is better, tell him to "...demonstrate that on a speed bag please..."

Only very few know the true difference between a ubolt and ballhook.

JC, good luck to you. It's a tough row to hoe, (I come from a family of railroaders) but the with the demand for qualified runners very high right now I have no doubt that you will accend up the seniority ladder quickly.
