Thanks for the nod, Tim, but the "air" of this place is due to a lot of things, not any single person. The phrase "it takes a village" comes to mind, and we have a lot of great folks in this village. Like Spin says, we leave our ego's off the keyboard. Having met a number of the forum members I can honestly say each is a great person, sharing our rather odd love for the speed bag. Tim's running of the forum, keeping it no nonsense (well, maybe a little...) and demanding respectful posts within reason helps a lot. Actually, it helps a whole lot.

Tim really has been (and continues to be) an awesome individual, and there are definitely MANY other really good people here. But Alan, I'm pretty sure we all think you're exceptional. You'll just have to deal with that. Sorry!

I don't log on very often, and I write even less often, but I definitely couldn't let this one go!

I almost asked what country you are from until I looked at your profile. You can't come to America at 17 by yourself? I'm thinking that with a sponsor you should be able to. At what age can you come down? I see you won't be 18 till Aug next year, if that is the age. Speed bag 2011 is going to be in June in New Jersey, Per Tim. It would be great If you could make it. I knew a guy in Turkey that wanted to go to work in Texas but they never got it worked out, I can't recall why. I would think it would be easier for just a short visit. If you want to try, let us know what you find out.

This is the first forum I've ever joined also. In fact I never posted a pic or video on the web until I did here. Thanks to Tim and everyone else who make this forum what it is.

This forum has a terrific band of baggers!! I too, look forward to checking in to the forum each day. Nothing brings me more satisfaction than seeing a new post about a new bag, a new video clip, or a new member!

Red Bag is a Title 8x5

The Red Bag is a Title 8x5 (only $19.99) on the "Too Legit" clip. It's lighter then the Everlast extra small, so you can link continuously with out the resistance that the Everlast has. I love the feel of the Everlast xs for just plain bagging. It's got a great feel. I'll probably get a 9x6 red Title soon just because you can't beat the price for $19.99. It's a good bag for that price.

Make sure not to over inflate. I made that mistake on my first Everlast xs an I tore it up. Now I keep it softer and apply hand cream to it to save the leather. It seems to be working so far.

Stay Tuned for my next post which features the xxs Atomic Title bag! It's Tiny but light so you can fly with linking and double punches going through the bag and back!

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Oh, the durahide by everlast is a good soft bag for sore hands and producing speed without having to kill the bag with powerful strikes.

title classic is what your hitting on? cause the regular title is red in the 9x6. and i think all classic sizes are red and only 19.99. I may have to get me one!

                          Right you are Jump Cannon!

You're correct JC. I wasn't paying attention to detail as the drill sargeants used to put it. I have the one that only comes in 2 sizes and they are both red. It is the Classic 5x8. I'm pretty sure I'm going to add that 6x9 to the collection real soon along with the a Title Pro or EZ Pro swivel. But my intentions for the swivel will be to costumize it into a ball hook Swivel. I ordered a Watkins Swivel from boxing gear but it's been on back order for 2 months. Keep on Baggin JC!

I have had a watkins on order since the day i started...July 6th. I called and they said BACK ORDER! So i luckily found an all metal one at a used sporting goods store. lucky me! Take a look at the cleto reyes swivel...I think its a K500. Looks really nice and probably super fast. U-bolt style with a chain link. Its on the cleto website. Not sure how to get one though. I am lookin into a few bag myself. not sure what you know about promex. but i can tell you they are superb quality. and everyone i talked to that hits one say its their favorite over any other bag (just a suggestion). I sorta want a 9x6 for the heck of it. I am guessing it will have a tad bit larger sweet spot and still be small enough to rip it up without getting rebounded in the face. LOL.

This is a good place for me, to post 1. time. I agree in everything being said about SBF being a nice and friendly place. Unlike other (strength and conditioning) fora, this is really a swell place. Before signing up as a member, I read most of the posts in the last year or so. And not once, did I see any form of hostility and unwilling to help a fellow member of this board.

I look forward to be a part of this great subculture, and maybe get some help once in a while, as I´ve just started out baggin´. I watched some you guys´vids on Youtube, and was very fascinated. Along with this and some minor injuries in my arms from training advancednBW excercises, I deciced to invest in a bag and a swivel (both from Everlast). The platform I made myself.
After a week or so, it´s going great. Every day I can´t wait till I get home to practice on the speedbag. After half an hour my arms are like rubber, and I have to call it a day, but it feels great.
