Oh yeah. This Combo. I do this one either starting it with the O-TES, or i sometimes Start it with a Phantom strike under the leading Elbow.

If i'm not mistaken this is the Combo that i got from Dee Pooler. He calls it an Elbow Rotation.

A person can do alot with this Combo. sometimes i put a little fist roll in the middle of it with/ or with out a little fist roll rewind. Sometimes i do double bumps on the elbows after the phantom strikes. lately i've been entering this Combo with a downward elbow strike with a double bump elbow.
Even the Quasi Deano Over/Under Phantom Strikes work well on ends of this Combo if i remember correctly.

That's Awesome that you wrote down my Combo Alan. I'm Flattered.

there is an interesting, and difficult, 3 fist section in the middle, starting with the lead fist of the OTES, then the Second fist of OTES, then that lead fist comes back as a FSP under the raised elbow of the next OTES. the picture below shows the combo written starting with either the OTES (upper left) or from the FSP, bottom.

It's really on two techniques but the difficulty is in the doing, not the writing....

You could actually eliminate the elbow contact and make this a continuous FDP combo adding the extra fist, kinda like a quickie 3-punch reverse front roll.

    nice one, E.

Yep you're a lab rat. I downloaded most of your youtube video's and put the move difficult combo's into slo motion to see some of your amazing over-under elbow work.

Talk about writing something complicated, try writing this from about 2:20sec to 2:40sec.. or worse, go to .....4:18 to 4:30sec in the same clip.
Simply Amazing work. Some might say, "well, you're not going too fast...". I would say, "OK, so show me how he does that at any speed you want to try...."

There are several ways to write speed bag combinations, but just think about "....how could I write this effectively and explain it to someone else so that they might go to their bag and have some idea about what is happening." Seriously, if that was a saxophone or guitar riff, you could write it out musically, but it's a speed bag riff and you want to share it with speed baggers, that have never seen you, say 100 years from now.... (that is why I tried to develop some system or method..)

Be sure to include the fists, elbows, directions and the number of rebounds, which might be good to know..

The man who taught me the speed bag was a prolific writer and author, and always said: If you can't write it down... your skills die with you. If you want to pass it on when you're gone, you have to write it down.

I can do the reversing fist roll in front of the bag but hadn’t tried from the back side. More work to do! Fantastic Ebozyn. I thought I’d drop by here for some inspiration before a bagging session tonight and I got that and more! Thanks again.

          Here's a fact that will blow your mind;

do a normal Front Fist Roll (fist on top hits the back), and just move it behind the back. Don't change a thing, and you're doing a Reverse-Reverse Fist Roll.

          amazing.

Not to state the obvious (but I will); be sure to hit the bag before it returns to its vertical position under the swivel (after 1 rebound).

You might get away with hitting the bag slightly after vertical when doing a F-Roll (because you're hitting down on the bag), but in the reverse F-Roll, you're hitting up on the bag. Not much chance of success if hitting up on the bag and it's past vertical.

              Same goes for the reverse-R-Roll.

                rewind and rewind again!

This (move) Reverse and reverse is a nice smooth move with strikes that are kind to the eyes. This move belongs to the one and only "Skunk" who brought it out @ SB10... Look at my sight Gtown bagger Skunk in reverse. Rememeber he does'nt need a title. Thanks Junts and Nova for the kind compliment along with the one and only MDeville.

Awesome Rolling! this is why it's hard for me to come on the forum while out of the states... I have no bag and I check all this stuff out, get inspired and can't do anything about it...
haha... anyhow... great to see all these groundbreakers here...
Last year, the week before Speed BAG 2010, I was privy to find out inside info that Skunk was going to unveil a new move there... the "Reverse Fist Roll from the Front".... I thought I'd learn it and show up doing it too! haha...well..I got in front of the bag...and just couldn't visualize this move... so ...like everyone else I had to wait until Skunk got there and schooled us all, as usual!
                  haha... good stuff!!!!
                  BAG ON!!!!

                    For a Reverse-Front Roll:

Just do a "normal hand over hand" Reverse Fist Roll and bring your Hands to the Front of the Bag.

Yes, I know. It's a lot more difficult than it looks. If it helps, learn it ONE punch at a time. Start with 2, than 3, than 4 than 5.... Once you get to 5 it's start sinking in - at least for me.

For the Reverse-Reverse Fist Roll, Do a "normal" Front Fist Roll in front of the bag and then extend your hands to the reverse position using the same movement.

                    Doah!!!! not so easy.

                    Good to have you back.
