LOL!
For some reason it looks like something Evil Knievel would do.
Less time engraving....more time practicing.

If anyone is interested in having their swivel base engraved with a design, PM me and we can work out a design and the details. Been doing it for a while, so turn around is usually quick once you settle on a workable design. Lemme know... open invitation to the forum. Bag on!!

Here are pics of the engraved coffee mugs that sold at the silent auction at Speed B.A.G. II. Tim told me there was some fierce bidding! Alan and Tim went home victorious! I was glad to contribute to the cause and plan on donating more stuff next year for Speed B.A.G. III!

Appreciate it! There's tons of possibilities! It all depends on the design, material and how deep you wanna engrave. With the steel swivel bases you can't go to deep, but you can get a good etching. It really "finishes" the board. Got anything you wanna try, email me any words or a high res B&W design or jpg and I'll see what I can come up with...Originally posted by ebozyn View PostThat is pretty cool ExEODCDR. Lot's of possibilities, national flags, spirals, tribal tattoos, gears ect.

Thanks MD! I got started by accident back around 2000... I started putting skulls and stuff on old bike parts and it turned into a hobby that got outta control...! Used to have a small "business" for a few years but mostly do it for fun and charity stuff now. I can pretty much engrave anything that I can pick up myself and that's relatively flat - rocks, cycle parts, engine valve covers, bricks (you've seen those engraved pavers & bricks in the ground), ceramic mugs... check the pics. I'm pretty psyched about the mugs for Speed Bag II bringing in cash for the charity - felt like I got to give back for all the great support from the forum. Tim said both mugs brought in $210!!!!Originally posted by metaldad View PostDanny bro that's sharp! When did you start doing this? Good way to make some side $$ for sure. Wow
!
I'm making and donating about 30 engraved beer mugs for our Fire Dept cycling team for the MS150 bike ride coming up and already have some cool ideas for Speed Bag III items! It's fun, a creative outlet, and people seem to appreciate something that's personalized...

I like those valve covers. I have a 68 camaro SS that i am about to change motors in. The car is already show condition but i am building a 454 from scratch to replace the 327. I would LOVE to put something on the valve covers.
