Thanks Rusty. I don't know why that code won't work on my computers, but for the last year or so the come up blank. I try all web Browsers but it errors out.

Here is the Sing, Sing, Sing, copied from your link, which worked, apparently

The way you post youtube vids embedded inline is pretty simple. For example, take Alan's vid link above https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5vwinXSwn0
you just take the video ID, which is the string of letters and numbers after "v=", in this case s5vwinXSwn0 and place it between youtube tags like this:

exactly what I used to do. Everytime I do that know...it goes to error. I've been liking video's here since 2006 and pretty much know how to do it, just that my particular system won't. I remember there was a youtube issue with this about a year or more ago when everybody was getting errors. They supposedly changed how to link live video's or not every video could be done. I'm not sure but I've tried to link a number of video's in the past year and just ended up posting the url text link.

maybe try copy/paste into Notepad first, then copy/paste the video ID into the forum? the reason I suggest that is sometimes copy/paste will take more shit along than you think, hidden shit.

Wow awesome stuff Alan! Do you practice the songs enough that you have the entire song mapped out technique wise, or maybe an outline so to speak? Or is it improve to the beat all along?

No I dont map out a song before hitting to it. Most all is improvised as it happens....however....there are normally a few sections in the Song that I have specific beats in my head that I want to use, Usually because the bag beat completely matches the melody line ior some instrument in the Song. Sometimes I have a specific combo in mind I like to do at that point BUT it is also dependent on where my hands are at that point. If I need them both in front of bag but one or both are behind or one the side I have to create that " bag beat" with a different combo. But mostly its improvised.

WoW! These videos made me want to try punch drumming! I tried Children of the grave (by Black Sabbath) and Elegant people (by Weather Report). Punch drumming looks easy but it’s not (for me at least)...

Good question Caz,I was thinking that the songs were all mapped out .Hopefully I can form some kind of punch drumming at some point.I do hear songs differently now. I think of the songs as if they can be used as punch drumming songs. Thanks

Zaz Yeah, Children of the Grave being a shuffle of sorts would be a perfect song to cut ones teeth for hitting to music. A fast shuffle like ZZ tops' le grange is very challenging to keep bagging to as the song rolls on. LOL does that make sense? Sorry, I could've crystalized my thoughts a little better if it wasn't for the decaf.
