I count how many bumps I get from an elbow strike. Such as a double bump, triple, quad, etc... Do what helps you. Good luck with your goals.

I think the question was confusing. Not counting total hits. More like counting moves. Ok going to do a basic triplet for 3 on each hand. move to a double for 3 with each hand leading... etc.

Yes, I guess I do count sometimes when I'm punch-drumming. But mostly I just go, while subconsciously making sure I use each side equally, if this makes any sense.

I always try to use each side equally and yes I do count more like a sing count if that makes any sense
