Newbie here.......

Well not quiet a newbie but its been a few years since hitting the bag.

I see there are lots of new members, so I will introduce myself.
I am Vini, father of 2 children, Diaz and Joe who have hit the bag in the past. I was a very active member here and learnt a lot of great stuff from Tim and many other great members. This is a community where I made good friends and would like to be a part of that again.

Last week, I hung another platform outside where my first platforms used to be. A friend gave me his Everlast adjustable platform, identical to the one I have in our bedroom. Got the bags out, inflated and haven't been off it since! The kids and their friends have been hitting the bags and even making videos of each other.

The Speedbag Bible will be coming off its shelf once again.

I watched this when I first stumbled into this place a few years ago.
I don't remember what I had for breakfast, but I remember this.
Alan mentions you at 08:02 in this video.

I remember that video too, some great tips from Alan. When I hit the bag from the side, I recall how I once hit it and this video made all the difference.

Hey Alan, thanks and myself and the family are doing just fine the children have grown up with Diaz just started high school. Time goes quick. No doubt will the kids want me to knock up a video to post here.

So how are you doing? I hope all is well. I will have to pop into Speedbag Central and have a nose about.

It's good to be back into the swing of things.

Hi MsDeville, I think my mistake was taking the platform from outside and putting it in the bedroom, that's when I lost interest. I was given another platform which is now outside, hence me hitting under the board again.
