Is it "Normal" to have a daily switching of handedness? I'm not exactly sure, but my own research has found it is extremely rare, indicating a membership in either one of two groups, extremely gifted or extremely not.
1. In the "gifted" group, the brain is so advanced it can easily switch between on hand and the other.
2. In the "non-gifted" group, well.....the brain can't make up it's own mind on which one it wants.
( It takes also takes a certain amount of "energy to switch" from one to the other). Not sure about your "daily switching" issue, but that may indicate some extra special sensory connections.
Most baggers I've met and witnessed fall into group 1, and from what I can determine a lot of them live on the east coast of the US but research is still out on that. There are also known populations of Group 1 in UK and Australia, who take the issue of handedness pretty seriously.
For some light reading on this, you might look at the following links:

Left Handedness (...not my favorite group, apologies to wife and brother)

Then again, most of the above could be total BS. except the part about the east coast.
