Wow, that's disappointing... and they charge $50 for this model. That is a bizarre place for the valve stem

It also is a marketing ploy to use only bladders designed for this bag. You can' use a regular "bottom" valve bladder as a replacement.

The quality of this bag, (...or lack of it) as well as this bladder stem placement make me want to stay away. I bet it won't last long so you might want one for historical purposes.

Was ready to purchase this bag.. now that I see the bladder stem placement I'm thinking its not a good idea. Seems really odd tho, maybe these were made wrong. Hannibal any chance you could confirm if the bladder stem is like that on your bags as well. Any chance you could take some pics to compare all your ringside rebound bags to the title gyro 8x5?? what other bags do you have in your collection?

            I have the following bags:

            title gyro 8x5
            title atomic xs 5x7
            ringside NOS 4x7
            everlast Cp:XS 4x6
            everlast Elite:L 10x7

I'm looking for a bag somewhere between my everlast Elite:L and the title gyro 8x5.. was thinking of going with 6x9 rebound maybe I might just go with a fighting sport bag instead...

If anyone hasn't noticed this placement of the valve stem they have not bought a ringside bag in a while. I just replaced mine with what speedbagger said. Problem fixed. The ringside bladders suck and as much as I love my bags I had a major clash with ringside over them. I made them replace my last regular red bag three times over the bladder till I eventually got my money back and a 15 dollar gift card. That I used to put towards another Cleto giving me three cletos, 1 throwdown bag, 1 ring to cage militant looking bad ass bag, one title gyro 8x5, one rival 9x6 new generation, one fighting sports all white 8x5, the whole set of rebound bags, 1 9x6 and 1 8x5 red regular ringside bag. Don't let one bad experience sway your decisions. I am a huge ringside fan. I have their bag, sparring, and fight gloves. I also own five ringside punching bags, and sold 3 off recently to make space for my new ones. Their leather is of great quality. Much better than a lot of brands. They are revamping a lot of their products though, and from what I can see their should be some products with fixes out soon. I just ordered yesterday the new Lonsdales I-Core series double end bag. I am hoping I don't get a flop either. To finish off though all my double ends from ringside have the same nipple bladder. Just replace them. The fix is worth it. The leather on the rebounds is nice in my opinion. To quote speed bagger though, everyone's taste in bags is different. I have grown to understand that more over the years.

                8X5 Ringside Rebound Speed Bag

I received my new 8X5 Ringside Rebound Speed Bag on Saturday.
It is the fastest speed bag that I ever hit. It is faster than a Cleto.
The leather is very high quality and it is balanced very well. The only weird thing was the nipple of the bladder was on the side of the bag but it did not interupt any of my strikes on the bag.

Thanks for the info guys, any chance someone could post some pics of this bag compared to other popular bags like the title gyro 8x5 or atomic xs?? I kind of found the title gyro 8x5 to be a fat stubby type bag. Kind of different compared to my other bags. I really like the look of this rebound bag. How is the quality of the red classic ringside bag?

The quality of the modern red sucks Freshane. I had to replace the bladder in those too. However, the quality of the new tri color they are selling is superb. They are on sale right now too. Check them out. I got mine this morning via 3 day shipping. I also learned that they are requiring members to re register, and their is potentially a 30 percent or 25 percent off store wide coming. Time to stock up on some stuff then. They got the new grants. They look much better than the old. Plus time to check the everlast mx out!!

I have them both. The tri-colored and the rebound bag. I prefer the rebound bag because it is very fast.

The new tri-colored bag is very durable. The leather is very high quality. It can take a beating
