    Speed Bag for the feet?

Now the purists on this forum might dig on this, but you won't catch me doing the 2-step...gotta draw the line somewhere...

I betcha it's one hell of a workout. Pretty cheap at $29.95 too. I'd give it a shot.

I don't know 'bout that BM. Turn it upside down a second, and it's a pretty interesting swivel idea. Kinda like using a string tied to a chainlink.

Actually, If you remember the video's about the vaudeville bag punchers, they have a similiar unit that they hit with their knees.

I just got an original December 4, 1939 LIFE Magazine with an article about Doris Degreen. It shows her floor bag with about a three inch pipe attached to the floor, and a rope from inside attached to the bag loop.

On her overhead double bag unit, It clearly shows her bags attached directly to the board by eyeHooks. The Eyehooks are screwed into the board so they eye is on the wood, and the bag loops of each bag are tied directly to the eye, Almost like attaching the bag loop to the board itself. There is no obvious string or rope between the metal eye and the bag, so the bag loop is tied snuggly to the eye on the board.

That would certainly shorten (or eliminate) the swivel, and eliminate any interference in the rebound due to swivel mechanics. Only problem might be elbow strikes, particularly downwards. There has to be a little clearance to get the raised arm under the board.

              Hmm.

Working on it. It's old paper and need to handle it with care.
