    Lonsdale authentic bag.

Hi all! i have just had a call telling me that the Lonsdale authentic peanut bag i ordered is out of stock for another month, so i have ordered the next size up hoping the bigger bag will be easier to learn new skills on, does anyone know exactly what size this is? thanks Fingers.

i wish i could tell you the size, but i have no idea sorry mate. the only thing i coud suggest is to look at my pic i posted.

after playing about with my 5x8 it does seem pretty big now.. when i got the lonsdale bag i had no idea how big it was going to be.. as they dont state the size.. its quite a very long ball if thats any help. i would say if your used to a medium + size bag then i think you will really like it .. very soft leather. sorry i cant be of more help to you fingers.

oh forgot to mention mate.. those pics from sugar rays that show both the peanut bag and the lonsdale authentic bad which you have just ordered.. they look the same. they both look like the peanut ball, which confused me when i got mine, but the lonsdale authentic bag is longer and thinner where the laces are.. hope that helps.

Well folks! the lonsdale has arrived, first impressions are mixed!! it is the largest bag i own at 10x6 very well made but recommended pressure is 10lb so a bit hard on the hands, it may soften with use, not quite as fast as my everlast or cleto but i guess the bigger the bag the slower but that said i had it going at a fair old pace, the leather is really soft.. top quality, it also hangs lower than my other bags!! but i probably had them a bit high anyway,so all in all a good buy if you need a larger bag

well my 11 year old son has just got into bagin as well after watching his old man give it a try, so as soon as the new platform is here ill pass down that lonsdale bag to him. Should be great for him to start pounding on.

                              Hey Fingers!
I too recently ordered a Lonsdale bag, pretty much because I thought it LOOKED cool and figured it was a more top of the line bag.
                              I bought this one....

I too agree it is a bit hard on the hands and the rebound is rather lacking.
I guess it goes into the category of "bags to punch when you want to go for power and strength as opposed to speed and technique". For me, that is a rarity as I am obsessed with improving my fluidity on the advanced techniqes and punch drumming more than anything.

Also had to mention I dig your set up. The little timer/clock is great. I need to get one like that. Nice pics on your profile page.

                              BAG ON!
