How stable is this bag when mounted to wall studs?

Doe it need additional re-enforcing ?

How does it compare to a platform mounter on an Everlast heavy bag frme stand?

It's a lot more stable than anything on 99% of the free standing setups. Most of these still have some vibration issues as they are made of relatively lightweight materials. Also depends upon the wall that they are mounted on.

I guess you don't remember our conversation on Instagram about the comparison between the two, Remember what I said about running your wood cross bracing across at least 4 of your 2x4 house framing. (Edit) Also remember what I said about using a worm drive adjustable platform like Valor with its 30 inch drum, that way you can easily lower or raise your platform for different size bags and for the grandchildren when they visit you.

Yup, I did forget. LOL. I was looking for something like this . I found the one I bought on marketplace. And the guy just wanted to it gone, so it was almost free. I am making great progress on remodeling my garage, Including insulating it. So I will mount it and if the vibration is bothersome I have a friend who does welding and said he would add some bracing if needed. I am placing 4x8 sheets of plywood on the garage studs before I mount the platform. No dry wall. I will mount platform to to plywood and into studs. Thanks.
