    Restore and maintaining speedbags

I am in the process of cleaning up and restoring some of my old speedbags. In the past I would use baseball glove leather oil to clean them up.Would like to know what would be the proper way to clean up and maintain my speedbags. Thanks

I use mink oil on mine. Takes off the grime and softens the leather.

While searching old threads I did read how mink oil /mink paste is the way to go. I think I will go that route. Thanks

I use neatsfoot oil. Very happy with the results.

I use leather wipes perhaps couple times a month and saddle soap and mink oil when deeper maintenance is warranted.
