What kind of swivel is this?

    What kind of swivel is this?

    I'm not sure what kind you call this. Is it any good to hit on? Does the eye attach to a ball in the housing, I can't see one in that position?

      Looks like a D&M Lucky Dog swivel.

        Yes, I'd say it's a Lucky Dog, and it looks brand new to boot. These were originally made with a long eyebolt coming up through the cup in the housing that could be screwed up or down to adjust the length of the chain. I've seen some that have had these feature removed in the course of their life.
