I'd like to make a little more time for BH punching again now that I understand it better.

Also, I see that "Boxing Gear's® Speed bag Swivel (Watkins name on it) scroll down the page - Triple chrome plated, precision ball Swivel all Steel Construction" is available from FitnessEquipment.com, which looks like it had a review on this forum that's no longer available. Any advice before I plunk down change I shouldn't. Thanks again!

I have a Whitely No Jump swivel and a couple of older Everlast B&H, one with the offset hook. The biggest difference is the Whitely has a round ball and the Everlast ball is flattened on the top and bottom. They are interchangeable between the bases, each one can screw into the other. For some reason the Whitely is noisier even when equally lubricated. Both of them have eyes that are set into the ball with a set screw so you can adjust some what the length of it for a shorter or longer swing. They both function the same as far as performance goes. Personally I like the Powerswivel better than either on them, it is a bit quieter and just seems smoother. The Deville is the quietest and if you ask for the "Kink" in the hook it will hold the bag on better. Haven't had the Watkins one, but just by the looks of how much spacing there is between all the components I don't think I would want it.

This is how the offset should be and function for holding the bag in.

Even if was off set the right way, it still seemed a bit flimsy. They didnt agree with me and said the angle is suppose to be like that. The way they have it designed, the bag falls off easier and the bag doesnt even sit flat.
The thinness of the hook material I don't mind, but that angle looks bizarre. Can't imagine how that could work.

I'm referring to Bag-A-Holic's photo. The surface where the bag loop goes looks incorrect.

            Me neither.
Thank you all for the helpful responses. It just wasn't worth more than the few bucks it should cost.

I'd love a high quality, standardized-thread, nice-looking metal base, available with a quality, removable, low-profile Ball-Hook (ie: the thought and quality that MsDeville and JumpCannon put into their products) with optional, quality, U-Bolt, and Chain Link (maybe) bottoms. For $26, the triple-chromed Boxing Gear's Watkin's-branded swivel (thanks for the pic. on that too) can't be what I'm looking for. I didn't like the look of that hook either - too scrawny.

Until then, time and the universe has confirmed MsDeville as the source. (If she'll still sell me one. I did tell you I'd come calling eventually Dee. )
