Someone got a great deal. the post is gone already. The picture is blury but it looks like an Everlast platform, with a Everlast ball hook, and a blue Everlast bag! $5 maybe they made a mistake

I've seen those platforms before. If mounted with solid lag screws into the wall joists (studs) and some added weights on top (sandbags), they work fine. That would have been a great deal for $5.

Absolutely. I've had boards like that up for years and they do fine. $5.00 is a steal.
