I can report that my platform is performing fine (I’m not saying I am) on a daily basis.

It is now equipped with a classic Everlast Ballhook swivel (this is after a much appreciated intervention from a king – and I’m not referring to our swedish one)

Excellent idea! I would love a set up indoors but, haven't got the room. This or something similar could be the answer!

I think the speed bag deserves to move indoors, it has been confined to cellars and garages for much too long.

And if you meet some resistance while drilling large holes in the living room ceiling, try these arguments:

“No - a speed bag does not make a lot of noise - it produces a nice rhythmic sound.”
“A speed bag is the perfect ice-breaker at dinners”
“It could be a natural way of getting in contact with our neighbours upstairs”

-Or you can always use my trick:
“No darling I’m not building a speed bag platform – I’m constructing a lamp….”

Hey man,

if i was a businessman and i had money, i would hire you as a designer so that we could together start the production of the NEXT wave of domestic speedbag platforms, that would combine high aesthetics, multiple functions, modern style, innovative ideas, a combination of gymnastics-creativity-style.... the choice for the Man of Tomorrow! hehehehehe
