...i do that move but it's alittle different in my elbow combos, i call mine an uppercut elbow ;-)

That upward elbow was deemed illegal several years ago, as decided by the executive board of speedbagcentral, and you should stop doing it immediately. Tim had already been warned.

He is a truly gifted bagger, who brought more than one new combination to light. As many do, he has either drifted out from under the board for a while, or his internet interests and alloted time for being online is elsewhere. I get that, but we do miss him here. To be honest, those gone walk about is a pretty long list.

Yes, and notice how he combined it with an outward double elbow strike on one rebound. Scary good. Tim's skills sky rocketed in a short time.

The executive board members found it very unsafe to execute. The movement driving the elbow upward requires the fist to move upward toward the board. "Big Blue" (as we call him) kept hitting his hand on the board overhead when trying to do the upward elbow. And "Mr. Frog" doesn't really have any elbows to speak of, and he's not crazy about any of the elbow strikes. As for me, I just wish I could use it effectively, but like many of these Johnny come lately innovations, it hasn't found it's way into my normal punching patterns.

I'm finding it hard to teach this old dog new tricks, at least to the point that they feel natural when I do them, which this does not.
