Sometimes I need a visual to understand how something works.

This is how to embed a YouTube video into the message board:

Type in the first set of bracketed words;
followed by the coded numbers/letters;
followed by second set of bracketed words. (Don't forget to put the back slash right after the first bracket.)





The other (EASIER) option is to simply "copy and paste" the whole YouTube coding in your forum comment thread, and then we can just click on it and it will take us to the video at the YouTube site. (This is actually helpful for those who can't view embedded videos because of the mobile device that they are using.)
