Looking and sound very good, D. Steady rhythm and timing, good arm and hand positions and movement. Solid bag contact at belly. Very good!

Excellent! I wish you were on this side of the pond, I'd love to get a platform mount like that for my low basement too. Looks solid as a rock!

Great footage, nice work; from someone who KNOWS what you are doing is NOT as easy as you make it look.

I'm glad you all think I have improved - I'm very critical of myself most of the time and need an unbiased 3rd party to tell me if I'm better or worse -

I'm having problems with mastering side strikes at the moment - curse these short arms!

I think the trick to the side-to-side is to remember that your target is really side-to-side and not angular, pivoting at the elbows more than at the shoulders, and appropriate wrist rotation. It is challenging.
I bet you get it by the next video.

                  Size doesn't matter.

Arm length should not affect this movement. Hitting the side of the bag does not require any longer arm extension than doing reverse punches, which you're doing very well. Side punching is more about fist position and angling of movement toward the bag. Also, there is a noticeable bend in wrist. Maybe this video on Side Double Punching will help. You CAN do it!

It's just that easy with such great instruction! Pay attention & practice. Only took me a few hours to get it down. You'll do the same.

Thank you Alan....for ALL you do!

gave it another try tonight via Alan's instruction - man ! A lot harder than I thought - really brings the rear delts into play a lot more than anticipated - nearly, very nearly, got the hang of it - more practice soon
