Some cool double time/syncopated rhythms you had goin' MD! That tempo was at a crawl, but could be good for practicing. I've been trying to do some punch drumming. Lately to some Pat Metheny grooves. They're great because most of the tempos are slightly slower and at a mellower groove, making it easier to relax, have greater control,
and pull off newer techniques (I need work on) at a slower tempo.
Anyway, nice job brother. Take it cool.T.J. MaTEE'[/U][/U] u:

I've taken my metronome out with me and have been using it the past couple of days and it's helping especially for those pesky I-SES!
to be able to handle that at this point. The metronome idea sounds like a great practice tool. So many baggin' aspects to work on, so little time! LOL.
Anyway, looking good my man.T.J. MaTEE'[/U][/U] u:

It is beautiful music to listen to. Interesting baggin' mix. Kinda hard to determine any beat but that can make it challenging. Good job on it.
When I'm in the mood for slow and meditative music with a bag bagging beat I often turn to Enigma. It's slow and if you can't feel this beat, you're dead.
Sadness I
Mea Culpa
when I want a bit more powerful choral and drums I like the "Power of One" soundtrack for the variety of voice, rhythm and drums. Various songs have some cool parts for a bag beat. These are just a few but there are many on the album.
Mother Africa :37 - 3:10
Rainmaker 1:12- 2:44, 4:48 - 6:45
probably not for everyone's taste to be sure - but very bagable.Speed Bag
