Q for all: I have seen some very nice drums and set ups here. The one thing that is eating at me (at the moment ) is that no matter how thick or stylish the drums are, everyone always seems to add weight on top. I understand why we do it, but why hasn't (TMK) anyone designed a set up that does not need or create the desire to add a vibration dampner?
Any thoughts, ideas???

Im no inventor, but what about a water filled drum. Like the freestanding heavy bags. You could fill it with water or sand.
If this idea makes someone rich, remember you heard it hear first. Just send me some love...
your deffo not stealing the thread kaju, its a good point. The reason i stuck a rubber bucket with some sand in it, is because im still getting quite a bit of vibration which i believe is down to my brackets. My board is quite heavy, and as you can see in the pics its only attached to plywood then plasterboard. I think im limited to how much weight i can put on top due to how the platform is mounted. But with a heavy duty frame i dont think bags would be needed.. i could be wrong though lol. Im sure more of the experienced baggers here could answer that question better than me. Anyway fellas.. glad you like it and thanks for looking.
