    Greetings from Austin....

Hey Gang....Greetings from Austin. I hope this reaches you well.

I've been lurking for a while and fully expect to be a full blown speed bag addict in no time....so I thought I would make my entrance official.

You have a great community here...and I look forward to learning more and contributing where possible.

Been hitting the heavy bag and Olympic weights in my home gym for a good while now.

Long time fan of the sweet science of boxing..so when I decided I needed to add some cardio to my lifting efforts,...I was amazed at what I have learned about speed bag through this forum.

Also as a life long funky drummer...and learning and hearing about Punch Drumming??? You can get some upper body workout and combine that with the love of music.....

Are you kidding me? Count this guy in.

    KaiserSosa signing on.

Welcome! You're going to fit in just fine...also being a musician, the rhythm gets you, clicks...and the addiction begins. Looking forward to seeing you develop. There are a ton of punchdrumming videos posted....and more to come!
    Cheers,

Definitely curious to know what exactly funky drumming is -- somehow sounds right up my alley. Either way, welcome to the forum and the addiction. You'll love it!

Hey there, KaiserSosa. Hmmm. That name sounds vaguely familiar.

Well, anyway, you'll find all the Usual Suspects here on the forum. Plenty of speed bag addicts, ready and willing to show you the ropes…

Having a musical background will give you an advantage, I think.

          Welcome aboard!

Ha! truth is, it's not an imitation. I saw him play live in Grand Rapids Michigan many years ago. got back stage and stole his coat.
