    Concern for East Coast Members

Just a note to wish all of our East Coast Members well during the superstorm Sandy that recently made landfall. Looks like it is the real deal and you guys are getting hammered.

We have a LOT of members and supporters in that area, probably now without power. Too many to list names but just want to say good luck and I wish you all well. Hope to hear from you guys and girls in the next few days.

AK, thanks for the concern. We are all OK in the NE section of PA. Mother Nature spared us this time around. Many trees and branches down, and spotty power outages, but quite a bit less damage than was forecasted (at least around here). 50 - 60mph wind gusts and plenty of rain, but nothing like central PA or NY or Joisey. And how about NW Maryland getting over 20" of snow? Sandy packed quite a punch.

Hope the rest of our East Coast members ride out the storm with little or no damage. Check in and let us know how you fared.

Good to hear that. Some of our greatest baggers and Real Gymm were under attack. Hang in the guys.

We dodged a bullet up here in Albany, NY....REALLY heavy winds and a whole lot of rain, but other then some power outages and minor flooding along the rivers & low land, we're good.

        NYC... not so lucky.

Very Glad to see that Real gymm and Donnies family are all OK. Since you can see the bay from our second story perch I was a bit worried about his location.

We took a ride down the Jersey shore area and here is a photo of a building on the sea wall at Sea Bright. This is close to Donnie's gym, (about 15 miles east).
You cannot see the full impact in photo's, but you get an idea.

Up and down the coastal area you see how much damage was done. You cannot see the full impact in photo's, but you get an idea.

I think this was a catagory 1 hurricane or downgraded to a tropical storm. I couldn't imagine if it was any worse.
