"Hitting to Music" - Muhammad Ali and The Beatles - 1964

"Hitting to Music" or just plain "Hitting Music". Muhammad Ali and The Beatles - 1964.

These guys are among my all-time favorites - maybe yours too. (Alan Kahn, especially in "Hamster Dance", included)

Cute picture. I'd never seen that before.

Ah yes, Hampster dance. Six years and several pounds ago.

For some reason my grandkids loved that song. I did a quick take hitting to it before the weekend they came. I made two takes of that song with them in the room, and they couldn't stop laughing or be quiet during them. We had fun doing it, but that footage could not be used. Fortunately I did have my first take footage and that is what I used in this mix.

That is one of my personal favorites also. We edited this a few weeks later and I let them choose the pictures we inserted into the video as well as the placement. That was about six years ago, and now their heads are rarely raised from their cellphones. the boy at .9-12 and other parts is in the picture below with the door hanger speed bag. He is a top zombie killer on X-box.

I miss lady, the cocker also. She spent a lot of years patiently waiting under the board waiting for me to quit making that racket.

Looks like just plain hitting George. As usual, he's low man on the totem pole.

and that is why his guitar gently weeps.

It does consume processing resources 24*7. Before I heard it, it was only "Witch Doctor" - with "Alvin and The Chipmunks". Since I came with a measly dual processor, there's not much else that can go on in there. It's noisy, but it's a funny place when I turn up the volume and tune-out life's BS. Fortunately, the dual processors can each multi-thread, and I can still feed myself and scratch my belly at the same time. Love that goofy music! ("Guitar Gently Weeps" - lol - uh-oh, processing conflict - can't handle three.)

Here, David Seville tried to reproduce his funny voice (and that he later created his "Chipmunks") by doubling the speed of the tape-recorder. WITCH DOCTOR ...

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Witch Doctor. Yep, I can punch to that... Fairly slow with basic rhythm punching, (I'd say a 9x6 would work) and pretty quick with syncopated combinations (I'd go 8x5 for that).
