    Really nice find!. Hard to tell if the welting on that bag was ever signature red or not. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't.....

      Yah it's definitely not red, it's that old school brown color, in fact i have an old black everlast double end bag that's either the same age or older than this bag, i'll take a picture of both together so you can see a close up of the welting on both

              Everlast appears to have adopted this catalog numbering system in the mid to late 1950's. These were the "pro" line of bags, which were different than the "institutional" line that were larger, heavier striking bags.

                My guess would be 50's or 60's i feel the double end bag is older, i was surprised how crazy thick the leather is, it's much thicker than the red 4220 debs I have
