I've had a chance to use both my new bags more this weekend. I like both of them. The Turbo will really give you a workout. You have to hit it pretty hard to really get it moving. My son likes it because it is slower and easier for him to react to. I weighed it with some cheap kitchen scales and it looks like it's around 9 or 9.5 oz....pretty heavy. After working with the Turbo, I'll put the Classic 9x6 on for a break. In comparison, it's so light and small that just light taps will keep it moving...smooth as butter. It will be a great bag to try learning some new techniques on. Time will tell how these bags will hold up, but so far it looks like they will last a long time. The seams are holding up well.

In my experience a bag's seams are most susceptible to split from continous overinflation.

That makes sense. I've been inflating them to where they are slightly spongy and easy on the hands, but still rebound good. Does that sound about right? What do you recommend, or how do you determine the correct pressure? Thanks.

Yes, that's perfect. No need to measure the pressure, if it doesn't hurt and rebounds good, that's all there is to it.

Tim is correct. Don't mess with what works. Over time, the bag will naturally lose a little pressure, and then just give it a few shots of air. As you get a little better you might make it a bit fuller. Just be sure to have enough "give" to press the leather in a little with medium thumb pressure. The bag should last for years like that.
