In my experience a bag's seams are most susceptible to split from continous overinflation.Speed Bag

That makes sense. I've been inflating them to where they are slightly spongy and easy on the hands, but still rebound good. Does that sound about right? What do you recommend, or how do you determine the correct pressure? Thanks.Originally posted by Speedbag View PostIn my experience a bag's seams are most susceptible to split from continous overinflation.

RandyTim is correct. Don't mess with what works. Over time, the bag will naturally lose a little pressure, and then just give it a few shots of air. As you get a little better you might make it a bit fuller. Just be sure to have enough "give" to press the leather in a little with medium thumb pressure. The bag should last for years like that.Originally posted by Tim View PostYes, that's perfect. No need to measure the pressure, if it doesn't hurt and rebounds good, that's all there is to it.Speed Bag
