    Online sellers in Europe 2.

    Hi,

I am new member here, from Slovak Republic (Central Europe). I would buy online speed bag with platform, but the major companies in England told me when i called them, they don't shipping to Slovakia..
Example. I would buy Lonsdale L47 Speed Ball Platform and speedbag. I've called GymWorld co.UK, but they told me only "sorry, no.".
Can anybody help me where would i buy online quality speedbag set please?
    Thank you.
    Atti.

    Welcome sakkmesterke.

It is great to meet fellow speed bag brothers in such far away places. I know very little about your country or your access to sports equipment. There appear to be extremely high international mailing fees by the US postal service. And equally high fees for shipping boxes the weight of a small speed bag unit. I also see that there are various import restrictions and added fees, making it very expensive to mail to that part of Europe. I can see why most companies don't want to deal with the restrictions, and it is very difficult to get a reliable quote as to mailing costs.

Perhaps you could find a boxing club that has speed bag equipment and see where they got it or perhaps find some local used equipment.

Good luck in your search and I hope this forum helps you find what you need!

      Thank you,
Finally i've ordered Title speedbag and deluxe swievel from http://store.titleboxing.com/ . The platform i am planning making from hardwood (like maple..etc.). The steel construction will DIY, installation technic HILTI.
The shipping costs are not so low, and i don't belive that online stores in UK are not able shipping to Europe, when Title is shipping from Kansas to anywhere.

P.S.: Could anybody tell me, what kind of hardwoods are the best for platform (only maple)?

I got 3 tiers of 1" marine ply at 33"D. Its very heavy, but surprisingly I still have to weigh it down.

I've decided order some nice things from Titleboxing at monday, but:
          - problems with payment processing of European Mastercards,
          - bad communication (i've called them every day - export managers, and mailed them about my order, and payment processing). Everyday has been promised me they will solve my order, but still nothing happened.

I found in UK Sugar Ray's online store, bit expensive, but:
          - no problem with credit card processing

I am optimistic now, and i hope will finally get, what i ordered. When the speedball and equipm.will here, i will post here again.

Sorry to hear it's been such an ordeal. Seems like they have a great selection of equipment though, hopefully it all works out.

Definitely let me know how it goes and I'll add sugarrays to the list of vendors and make a note about it.

Yes, they have large range of products - and quality: like speedbags Rival or Lonsdale (pro and authentic).

At wedesday i've been at one of Budapest's large sports department store "Humanic". I found there standing speedbag "platform" , "ball" , "swievel" and heavybag together, but in my opinion it was poor quality, cheap, and maybe used the platform and swievel!!
I don't remember the manufacturer's name, but something like 'Energetic...'. I dont remember.

At thursday i've been here at my homeplace chech the local sport store, becouse they've called me - they have new boxing stuffs.
I've get to the car, drove there. They had new KATSUDO gloves, and speedball without swievel.
When i've get home, i look after KATSUDO in Slovakia.
I don't know about their quality, but when i searched they have 11x7 ball (converted from centimeters to inches) and one speed ball platform.

So i've decided stay at sugarrays
