    Bag Question

I Have A Title Classic 5" X 8" And I Love It Its Small And Fast
Im Pretty Ok With It I Hit Fast And Steady For As Long As I Can. I Do The Regular Drills On It But When Im Going To Do Crazy Stuff Like Hit From All Angles And Elbows And Stuff I Cant Even Keep Up Lol.
So I Was Watching Videos Of Other People On The Forum And I Notice Moset Of Them Use Bigger Bags For This Type Of Drills Is That Why I Cant Do It (other Than Practice)\
Should I Buy Another Bag Bigger Like 6x9 Or 7x10 And If So Witch One Do You Reccomend!!! Thanks

Title 10x7 , best size (in my opinion) for a beginner... and once you've advanced it will give you a good "power" workout

I think I saw a recent video of Speed Bag Skunk doing all the drills on a small 4 x 6 bag. Absolutely amazing control and accuracy.

          Hes Crazy

Yeah Man He's Pretty Bad With The Speedbag
I Also Saw Videos Of Him On Youtube And Everytime He Was Doing A Diferent Drill He Changed The Bag I See He Uses The Small Ones And Also A Black Title Bag Thats 7 X 10 (i Think)
So Thats Why I Wanted To Know If The Bag Size Had Anything To Do With The Combinations Used..
Me Personally I Cant Get An Elbow Combinastion In Maybe Its Just Practice

I don't think you need a bigger bag. Just slow down or hit lighter on the bag so it won't go so fast. Once your timing improves, which increases your bag control, it will be easier. If you can't really back off your power, or force of your punching, then let a little air out of your bag, which will slow it down, or move up in bag sizes x1 size.

                Did a little searching and here's 'da skunk' on a 4 x 6. Amazing.

If my right shoulder was not all pinned together I'd love to practice the moves in Alan's DVD but at least the shoulder allows me to punch straight.

Years ago before the injury, before any bag videos, I was doing cross overs with the elbows but the ol' right elbow can't go high enough anymore.

Makes you sure appreciate the skill of Alan and Skunk's elbow technique.

....Not if you slow down. The truth is, ANY bag can go faster than the person hitting it. The key is control and hitting within your own ability. The bag only does what it's told.

I didn't believe this particular 4x6 grant bag was blazing fast, and it was not that much fun to hit, because it is so small and light. I prefer a bit larger bag, and even skunk says it wasn't that much fun to hit. It's really hard to punch a feather and a bag needs a certain amount of weight to "move". The elbows strikes are hard to do on this because there is so little room between the bag belly and the board. Downwards are particularly difficult to complete.

It takes a lot of swing and power control to manage a bag this size, and Skunk has both in abundance.

                      Yep

I Saw That Even For Him It Was A Bit Hard To Keep Going At A Steady Rithym. I Took Your Advise On Slowing Down On The Bag And Was Surprised That I Actually Was Able To Put Some Elbows In To My Combinations But I Need Alot Of Practice.
