Out of balance ?

A recent purchase was a 5x7 atomic. Seems much smaller than my 5x8. However it wants to spin. Hit it straight and it will rebound a couple of times and start spinning slowly and actually speeds up before stopping. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Still like the everlast 6x9 the best.

The smaller bags are easier to control if you let some of the air pressure out. See if that helps. It did with mine.

I agree with fedora. That is an unpublished trick for a bit more bag control. It actually works for bags of any size.

Of course, that is "too a point", past which a bag hits flat and dead.

But for a smaller bag, like that small atomic, the smaller size will still have a shorter rebound arc and should be faster than the larger bag.
