How To Needs tips on building/mounting my speed bag

I have a century speed bag. It measures 12" from the swivel and 6" across. I have some left over mdf that i would like to use as the platform if possible. I have a heavy bag stand with the capability of mounting a speed bag on the opposite side. i do not have the mounting brackets for the speed bag part of the stand. Any ideas and specifications on mounting a home made platform onto my stand? email me if possible wmosher33@gmail.com

thanx in advance for any help

    Hey Will,

There are various free standing heavy bag-speed bag frames. (often called "home gyms") with various ways to attach a speed bag to them. Some of these stands use "square or rectangular" frames and some use circular tubing. Without seeing the stand you have, it would be difficult to make a suggestion.

The Century stands use round tubing, while Everlast has used both round and square tubing over the years. You might be able to obtain the bracket for your stand from the appropriate source.
