    Leaky Bladders

I've purchased a few brand-new bags over the past few months, and more than 2 have developed leaks. When I look, the wear is always near the tongue.
It seems that factory lacing is sometimes sloppy and the tongue needs to be straightened before use. Putting the laces through the holes in the tongue so they contact the bladder seems to provide a wear point too. Just my recent experiences and observances.

That was a pretty common problem in days past, but haven't seen it lately. You might untie the laces and straighten the tongue before inflating the bag the first time.

I guess if your bags could talk, they would speak with forked tongues?
