Will Title Pro "Chain" screw to base of Title Plat "U"

I searched, and found a general ”no”, but not for this specific combination.
Does anyone know whether the Title Platinum Swivel (“U”) – that screws into its base mounted on the drum has the same diameter and thead as the Title Pro Swivel (Chain Link), that screws into its base. I'd like to have at least one chain swivel.

The way the world seems to work lately, I have my doubts – even within the same company. But we won’t know until someone other than Cust. Serv. At Title….. tells me they saw it with their own eyeballs.

    Thanks.

So basically you're wondering if the base housing and threads Title Pro Platinum and the Title Pro Swivel chainlink Will match up.

Actually that is an excellent question for Titleboxing currently has 6 base threaded swivels and it would be nice to know if they are interchangeable.

I don't have the two you're asking about, but it would be great information to have. In the past I have seen some base threads (different companies, styles etc) that are "fine" and some that are not and they can get cross threaded and "locked" pretty easily if you're not careful.

Just spoke to TitleBoxing and they say they cannot guarentee the bases and threads of the same or different model swivels will match due to the fact of different "batch runs" and fabrication equipment used.

That's how it is at the Ford factory. The wheels from one day's production won't necessarily fit on a car made on a different day. That's how Ford got so big.
