    swivel Parts?

im curious to know if any one has a watkins cap or an older everlast 4444 cap they can part with. i recently purchased a 4444 but its seized to the base (which would be great if i had somewhere to install it). i would like to mount the swivel portion to an unused cap as a work around. seeing i cant get a watkins anytime soon and dont want to risk purchasing another swivel just to encounter the same problem. i'd be willing to pay for the item plus shipping.

or does any one know of another swivel that will fit into an everlast 4444 base?

thanks and much appriciate all the help thus far.

    Hey reggabdeeps

I don't know exactly what you mean by a "everlast 4444 cap". There are two main pieces to a 4444, one goes on the board, the other screws into it. I you have a swivel with the parts "fused" together, then I don't see how you could use any part of it with another swivel.

From my experience no other swivel brand will really match up with the everlast parts and threads. I seem to remember someone saying they had a watkins swivel that fit an everlast base but my watkins swivel doesn't fit

Don't know if it helps but I bet someone has the part you need. When all else fails get the Powermill evil swivel here from jumpcannon.

    no parts to worry about.

the "cap" is the part that screws into the base (which screw into the board). if its not attached to the board you can use a socket wrench to remove the chain link part.

Powermill evil swivel was my first choice however i do not have a base at home and intend on using the swivel at my local gym. several other members (approx 3-4) all have their own "Cap" to screw into the base, just my luck i can't unscrew mine... one last try tomorrow.

Put your base in a vise, add some heat and remove cap with a pipe wrench. Hope this helps.

There are used bags on eBay and craigslist that often come with the everlast screw-apart swivels. Sometimes you can get them fairly cheap. I bring my own bag to the gym and do the same thing you're talking about
