    New homemade platform

Found the 2 steel brackets at a steel yard and used a countertop from Ikea for the drum. Total cost less than $100. Solid as a rock. I just use a black bag filled with wood pellets to deaden the sound, but I'm not sure I can hear any difference. Had it left over from my first cheap platform where I needed it.

I don't know what the brackets are from, I just found them in a scrap metal yard. They are very thick, about 1/8". Way too heavy to ship. I had been thinking about how to make a sturdy platform and figured when I saw something that would work I would know it. Then I got lucky.

Like those brackets. May have to find a metal yard nearby. Been wanting to make an outdoor board... hmmmm....
