Did searches on Molines in the US and Moline IL is only one I can find, Bob Segar found the fire down below there! lol

Frankly, I think that Moline was the name of the person that designed this style of platform, and not having to do with a city with that name (and there are several Moline's in the US).

Probably not what you are thinking of, but this is a Moline Disc http://www.tractorshed.com/photoads/...379033_opt.jpg

Awesome... yes, this one didn't have the extra arms, but it really doesn't matter, solid as a rock! Welcome to the forum & I look forward to seeing your finished product.

very nice!
I have a very similar set that I'm in the process of intergrating onto a multi station rigging. one of the two arms of mine has broken cast piece but I have a plan to tie it together with some extra steel, but would be cool to find spare part to replace. one other difference I nocticed is mine has a couple extra support bars.

That's cool... the only other one I've ever seen. Looks like it's missing the original wood from the top & bottom brackets...and seems the drum has been replaced, but it does have all three of the diagonal supports (mine only has the main center one)...broken adjustment handle/lock.
$400 starting bid.... I guess I was REALLY lucky to get mine for $60.00.
THANK YOU SPEED BAG GODS!
