5x8s

Does anyone have any two, or all three of these bags? I want to get a few more 5x8s.

I own the yellow Title 5x8, and it's great. It feels light to me, and used to float a bit with my plastic ball hook, but works nice with the steel ball.


I know that Fighting Sports bags are nice and soft, almost spongy, (I have the 6x9) They are awesome to hit, nice springy bounce for a heavier bag too. I'm guessing the fighting sports is the heaviest of the three. I'm not sure though.

I don't know anything about the rival precision 5x8.

I would like to know how all three compare to each other by weight, and feel of the bag, and actual size. Is one longer, or shorter from loop, to air valve? belly circumference differences? or are they pretty much the same size... ect.

I got the fighting sports 8x5....love it. Cant speak for the rival or title.

I had all 3 of these. I don't currently have the Rival , I gave it to SpeedBagTrucker (the guy that drove the legendary Speed Bag Truck on its many tours of the US).

The Rival was heavy for it's size and didn't have a real energetic rebound. It did look nice.

My Yellow Title sprung a leak after many years, and I haven't gotten around to fixing it.

I've been punching the Fighting sports alot lately and like it a bunch.

If you like the yellow title and the fighting sports, you would love the Title Gyro 8x5. Awesome bag, was punching it just tonight.

I wanted to ask you a few questions about the welting on the Title gyro.

Is that folded leather, smooth side out?

Does the welting stick out from the bag more than other title bags?

Has that welting ever been a problem, or gotten in the way of hitting, or caused you any injuries?
