    Greetings

Hey everybody. I'm new to the site. I have a wall-mount bag at home that I've been hitting for a couple of years now. I have the large Everalst 4210 "Gyro Balanced" bag, which I guess is a starter bag.

My main question today is whether or not I should let the air out of the bag after I'm done using it. I've done this is the past since a friend recommended it, saying that the bladder can split If I don't. But I've never seen footballs, basketballs, volleyballs, etc. deflated after each use.

    What do you say? Thanks.

    Chris

i never heard that before. As long as there is a good amount of air pressure (not overinflated) it should be fine. i have a decade old bag that was never deflated and never had to replace the bladder.

Dont do it. Everytime you put the needle in and out of the valve you will create wear on the valve. Just dont over inflate and let it be. In time you may need to add a bit of air here and there. But other than that.....no need to mess with it.

absolutely. The air valve is the weakest link in a bag, and the needle is your biggest enemy.

Well at least the midwest is represented! Welcome to the forum PhillyGuy. JC and Alan are right. Valves are a major P I A . I have a Top Contender DE bag in my garage. I've repaired it once in the five years I've had it. Not bad but when I get some cash I'm gonna start trying out Title and ProMex bags

Great point Jump and AK! It's ultimately overly time consuming too..
