What Leather Conditioer For Your Bags?

What does everyone use on their leather bags to keep the leather soft and from cracking?

I have a small jar of, believe it or not, Rolls Royce leather conditioner. I have been using it sparingly, but the jar is almost empty and now I need to look for something else. I was going to try some neatsfoot (sp?) oil, but I don't know if it will effect the rubber bladder.

I got what they had at Wally World, Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner, "Now with Sunblock and Aloe", haha. Little baby wipes that make your bags soft as a baby's bottom.

I have Lexol, leather Conditioner preservative. Nothing special just what they had at a cobblers shoe repair store. I suggest keeping petroleum based products away from rubber as they break it down. I here it's recommended to not use products that leave the bag slick where your hands will slip when punching. I remember having someone Armoralling my motorcycle seat, couldn't stay on it till I rubbed dirt into it. Look at western wear stores also, they may know about traditional products.

I bought some generic leather cleaner and conditioner from a local Boot Barn for $5. I try to use it after every other baggin' session. Apply it, let it sit for a few minutes then buff and wipe off any excess.

Of course, for those bags under your eyes due to late night bagging sessions, consult with your dermatologist before applying any leather conditioner.

The only thing mentioned on the bottle is tanning oils. They do have a web site, www.lexol.com. I know that Vaseline shouldn't be used on rubbers, if you know what I mean? I have only treated my bags once with Lixol but haven't seen any ill effects. But then I didn't put enough on to get it into the bladder. Some people have posted that they use Vasaline, I'm sure in moderation and wipe off the excess. The Everlast bags that I have seen that crack did it early on so I don't know if there is much that will keep them like new.
