Welcome to the forum Mike. Your setup is a decent one. Although you may want to change out the bag at a later time.

Got to speedbag's (Alan Kahn's) site www.speedbagcentral.com for some great free information on getting started and all the basic, and not so basic, info concerning speed bagging.

If you find yourself "hooked" on bagging, then I would recommend buying Alan's Speed Bag Bible and DVD set. You can find info about that here.

Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Welcome Mike, I think most of us started on that set up. It needs a couple modifications, but Biff said it, check out Alan's site.

HI Mike, and Welcome to the forum.

I used that model wall unit for many years and it worked just fine.

You can see it Here as well as all over the speedbagcentral.com site.

You will also see it in some short video tutorials under the "speed bag combinations" link.

Good luck with your training and post some video's if you can.
