I don't know how the pro ball hits, but the one I have (6x9 / 25 cm) is perfect. I emailed the company about what size the pro ball is but I haven't heard back. The bags have a thick wide loop on them and when they're used on the Jim Bradley swivel, the action is perfect. No bounce or jump. I have to squish the loop to get it on the Everlast swivel but it still works ok if I tape above the loop. The Jim Bradley swivel does keep the bag really close to the board and the speed is amazing.
You can buy a bag / swivel combo from the website below for $90 AUS which is about $75 US. Same one I have. The bags are expensive, but once you hit it, you'll understand why. I'm not from Australia, but they're really into speed balls there.
Nobody returned my call, hope Alan has better luck with the Sports Doctor

Thanks for following up Roscoe. Maybe I'll give him a call myself. If he gets enough calls from speedbagforum members, maybe he'll realize we're serious and make us some bags!

For me, it's simple. The ULTIMATE BAG is the one bag I most enjoy hitting. I've had several, of different sizes. When I beat that one to death, ( ) I look for another.
In my early career (1972-1995) It was the Everlast 4200, 9x6. I wore out several of these. They were always so consistent in size, shape, rebound and response. (where did that quality go...)
* During that era of my life, I was kind of a "strict traditionalist". I didn't want Red bags, or multicolored bags. I wanted an all black bag, and wouldn't buy other styles.
In about 1995-1996 I fell for what had to be one of my all time favorites, Probably seen by you all in many of my online video's, or private collection.
Advance senior citizen_near death Ringside 8x5. * At about 4m20sec into this, during "beautiful noise", you can actually see the advanced rip. Just after a FDP_RDP double time combo, I catch the bag with my left hand at 4m24sec. As I raise my right hand to hit, the bag spins a bit and you can see the red leather is ripped by the seam. Actually the rip is larger in the black panel, but it's colored with Black Magic Marker. (A cheap trick to make it look better on camera). I had actually punched the leather off that panel and it the rip was spreading. A few workouts after this, the bladder bubble that was growing underneath pooched out, mishaped the bag and put it out of sync. It was already lossing air during workouts, and - after 10 years of almost daily pounding, retired it with dignity.
The next generation. 2004 Custom made Ringside 8x5* nice touch to a make few of these for me based on the older style. I pretty much save these for special occassions or demonstrations. At home, I train with other bags. mostly larger right now, for hitting these smaller ones still hurts my shoulder.
The Ultimate Bag is really a personal choice, and the search for one is like looking for your soulmate. they wrote a song about it....
If you can't find some Bag to love, Love the bag you're with.
