with the reverse single punch do you hit the bag as its comming towards you or going away? obviously your fist comes towards your face.

For the RSP, the bag should be going AWAY from your face. Hit the bag after it rebounds from the front of the board and is on it's way back to perpendicular to the board.

Hit the bag as it's going away from you. Just like if doing a front single punch but everything is reversed, the punch and the rebounds. It will rebound next to your face and be heading towards the back then you hit it. Maybe the only time you will hit the bag in the same direction that it is traveling is if it is helicoptering and you want to keep it going. That is it is swinging around the board and you want to keep it going in the same direction.
