    Top notch speed bags

Ok....I was browsing "speedbags" and seen a few that i havent heard any talk about (except for the cleto reyes). These bags all came with a much higher price tag. What are all the "expensive" bags out there that we know of?

    Cleto Reyes....Mexican bag right?
Grant....I never heard of it (another mexican)?
    Lonsdale....Never heard of it (London)?
    Amber?

Not sure of what else is out there. Are these bags really that sweet? All i got for a "good" bag is a promex. Its mexican, and goatskin leather. I really think its excellent quality from the leather to the loop to the seams. Why do i keep throwin "mexican" out there? Cause i know they take their boxing with alot of passion. Plus they have good tequila!

never heard of them. Where did you see these. Looks a lot like the amber bags I've seen in USA.

Lonsdale are a British boxing brand and with quite a big range of speedballs. The ones I've tried, including the Lonsdale Authentic Peanut I'm using at the mo I'd say is definitely top notch.

I'd have thought the Fighting Sports bags probably get 'top notch' status as well, from what I've heard from other baggers.

I hit them at New York Sports Club. Its hard to judge them because they were over inflated and i was hitting them on a busted swivel. they seemed OK though, maby a bit too heavy for their size. here is a link to some of their stuff http://www.iscafit.com/products.asp?ID=1

In my time under the board I've gone through about 30 bags. I think most brands make premium models for each catagory, S,M,L,XL, banana or tear drop.

As far as 'Top Notch' goes I think it would be fair to say that any newer model bag is going to be better than an older model bag, of the same brand name.

I have noticed RingSide seem to have fallen by the wayside a little bit as far as being mentioned on this site for a long time now. I would consider their banana bag to be very top notch, what I pay to get my hands on a 8x5 and a 9x6 one of those.

The Grant is a very good bag and you couldn't fault the JB either. I use the JB for a more relaxed hitting or skills and combo development. I find the Reyers XXS bags a little weighty for their speed, which is fine for when I'm in condition

My favourite 8x5 is this cheap lil Aussie thing made out of durahide, which isn't even leather. Its nice and light and hits the way I like it, its really quick and manageable. If I were to line it up with all my other small bags you would most likely pick up a that had a top notch look and feel to it, but I would be going straight for the durahide bag.

If your doing what you want on one bag but not on another try deflating it ,or inflating it, maybe you need to re-adjust the height of your drum for the other bag
