I'd imagine an O-TES on the chin should take care of just about anybody that gives you any trouble. If that doesn't drop him, come back with another O-TES from the other side. If that doesn't do it, try some "riveting."

Lol. I actually did elbow a guy in the face...with a OES....not that hard though. Just enough to let him know that trying to push through the crowd in the middle of a song(Shadows Fall covering Ozzy, during the solo no less!!......) and spilling your drink all over some guys girlfriend is probably not the greatest idea.

I hear ya. A lot of the places Spin listed appear to be "off broadway" locales, if you know what I'm saying, But it's all about the music anyway. I'm just a bit old for the moshpit though.

True true. I enjoy music, and have found myself a bit too close to some pits this year.....I give this site credit for my skill in defending me and my girlfriend when random moshers get too close.

I found some online video's shot in "The Tree" in Dallas, "The new Oasis" in NV and a couple of others and the crowds were raging right up to stage, with no security around that I could see, which Foreigner did have. I don't know the exact definition of a Mosh Pit but this looks a lot like one.

But hey, when you know the coolest bagboy drummer you usually have a seat backstage - away from the clamour of surging human flesh fighting it out in the front of the stage.

So I am doing a bit of touring with Lynch Mob this Summer. It features guitar hero George Lynch, who started Lynch Mob in 1990 after a string of successful records and tours throughout the 80's as the guitarist in Dokken....
George is killer. So is Mob singer Oni Logan. My bud Michael "Denim" Devin is on bass and he jams hard. The music is loud, groovy, hard rock...
We won't have an equipment truck for speed baggin' but I'll probably bring the adjustable Everlast platform and some bags.
Last year I hung it from a Genie and used duck tape. It worked. So it's safe to say where there's a will there's a way.....
Let me know if you can make it to any of these shows and hopefully we'll get some baggin' in ...
A lot of these shows are a double bill with The Michael Schenker Group with Carmine Appice on drums. It should be a lot of fun.....

Aaron is here with his cage! It's insane! His leather starps are awesome, the Balazs plats are killer and this is the first time I've hit a Cleto Reyes! They are amazing!
and... George is using the Mr.Scary guitar most of tonight. The sound on this stage is the best we've had. George's sound is high class tonight!
And we are going to see if Xavier form Buckcherry shows up to play Into the Fire on drums. And the other night we did a gig with Hell Yeah and ended up with them all night....

I was a high school kid trying to learn all George's licks back in the day.
Today backstage he and I sat there with guitars working on Zep tunes "Friends" and "Four Sticks". We have a new band that plays blues acoustic versions of all Zep tunes, .... but we add in the choruses they didn't sing!!!!
"da,da, da dah....da,da,da, dah, DAHHHH, DUh...."Four Sticks!" "Friiiiiennnndddss!" "riff, riff, riff,,, Moby Dick!" etc... haha... funny stuff with our bassist on ld. vocals and harp... it will be reall cool!
