    Quick Question

I have been reading these forums like crazy the past week or so. Am learning a lot and am amazed how supportive you guys are of each other. Its a cool vibe.

I am ordering a bag tomorrow and I a very much a novice. I plan to just get a Title bag. Should I get the black 7x10 or the Gld/Blk 8x11 ? FWIW I'll be using a homemade platform and a plastic ballhook swivel.

    Many Thanks.

HF, I'd say go for the black 7 x 10. That's a good bag to start with to learn consistency and control. Let us know what you decide and be sure to update us on your progress. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

      I agree. I wouldn't go bigger than the 7x10.

10x7 or smaller. In fact, I think you'll get bored pretty quick with the 10x7 if you really get into this. I'd go 9x6 for a first bag.

Thanks Homer. We do try to be nice to each other, 'cause baggers are great folks. (actually, all folks are pretty great but we are kinda partial....) no haters allowed.

The Black 7x10 is a good choice for learning and Tim's suggestion for a 9x6 is OK to. Their RED 9x6 is a very nice bag. I hope your platform is sturdy. Several use the plastic ballhook swivel and it will work OK but the steel shank that screws into the ball needs to be "superglued" in or it will eventually fall out.

            Good Luck.
