    new avatar

Thats me on the left,my ole dude (Dad) on the right. We (he)built that platform At his Fire Dept. Hazelwood MO in north St. Louis county near where I grew up. The Tattoo is our Family crest so I had to put that in there.

I just "finally" became a Firefighter/Paramedic like him so there's some more pride in there than just baggn.

I know cheesy right you can say it.

2 days til SBtruck and spin come to town. Then its Baggn in the LOU!

Looks like a nice solid setup. Congrats on becoming firefighter. Like father, like son, in more ways than one.

Looks like you have an Everlast "melon ball" hanging.

I can appreciate the avatar. Me and my dad built my platform. He is the old guy giving me the stare down in my avatar.

Sparrky, very happy for you both. That's great.

Now that the bag is there, are other firefighters getting into it?

I (we) actually put the bag up there a few years ago, and yes other guys got into the "boxing" side of training. There is a big annual competition between Cops and Firefighters, here in St Louis called Guns&Hoses it's a charity event to support Backstoppers. That organization helps the families of Fallen Firefighters And Police in the line of duty.

Now that's a name that a top rock band should come out to support.

Backstoppers sounds like a charity worthy of bagger support. Maybe some local baggers could join with the Guns and Hoses to have a speed bag punch-a-thon and raise a little cash, punch a little bag, spread the baggin' love and help the families in need. Get the media to challenge each other. Radio DJ's vs the TV weather men. There's all kinds of ways to spin that and get the Backstoppers some serious cash and publicity.
