It's after nine and i should not hit

this time of night might disturb the neighbors a little bit

it's not my style to be rude

though the neighbors are an unseemly brood

the speedbag beckons me to beat

and send it's rumble into the street

if not on the bag at least three times a day

it's just not me because i've got to play

You sure your from Jersey? I grew up in New York and out on Long Island. My parents would take us out for a drive by the beaches and through the country and my brother and I would compete on who could memorize all the Burma Shave signs. Then we'd mix and match them to see if we could make our own rhymes. If they had them in NY state, they had them in Jersey.
